I was on the streets of Washington D.C. and the only thing I could see were pamphlets everywhere saying "war is coming, be aware!". I believe I should be somewhere in the early 1860's where the Civil War was just about to begin. Every time the Civil War is discussed I always ask myself why did this happen?, and I always get answered with the reasons of the war which were:
I so was fed up with this issue the only wanted to go to an event in history that had to do with my my profession. Law. But I still had to patiently wait until my chauffeur came to pick me up.
- President Lincoln becoming president.
- Societal differences between industrial north vs agricultural south.
- Slavery, because a lot of Southerners believed in white supremacy as well.
- The conflict over letting in new slave states or making them free states.
- The destruction of the Missouri compromise.
